Last Night of Cribs

Tonight is the last night in our "old house." I am honestly too tired and preoccupied with my to do list to be overly sentimental. (Or maybe just in denial...time will tell.)

This afternoon I explained to the children that this was the last night in their nursery. We have had their rooms "set up" at the new house for several days so they could get excited about their big kid beds. Today I reminded them that this was the last night of baby beds and that at the new house there were no cribs. From the backseat, I heard P start singing softly, "no cwrib for his bed, da liddle Lord Je-sus lay down his sweet head..."
