I really wish I were crafty...but alas, I am stuck with creative ideas that I cannot quite pull off.
I wanted the triple wagon to look like a bed (a la 3 little monkeys jumping on the bed) instead I found myself explaining it at the first couple of houses...then we ditched the wagon and just let the kids run off some of their sugar high. I also REALLY wanted a Hear No Evil, See No Evil, Speak No Evil picture. What I got instead was real life...which is still pretty sweet, despite its chaos!
I still think it is safe to say Halloween was a hit!
Because I always get a bit sentimental as we wrap up another childhood milestone, here are a couple of "ghosts" of Halloweens past...
Great costumes!! I love your 3 little monkeys!! How cute! Hope ya'll had a blast!!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun costumes they have had. I would suggest the butcher, the baker and the candlestick maker since Kate loves her chef hat, but the whole butcher thing might go wrong.
ReplyDeletePerri- You are hilarious..then again, their Daddy does play with sharp instuments all day in the OR...it just might work. Next year's contenders are 3 blind mice or 3 amigos, but I am painfull yaware they will have strong opinions next year...and we will likely all be very different things (which really is OK):-)
ReplyDeleteWonderful creativity!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOkay, I LOVE how kate has her tutu on OVER the monkey costume. That might be one of the most priceless things ever.
ReplyDeleteAdorable! Looks like so much fun!
ReplyDeleteI'm a regular 'lurker' of your Blog, but I knew what the trio's triple wagon was supposed to before I read your full post! Too cute!
ReplyDeleteYour children are so adorable and funny! I look forward to reading about them and their antics!

You are so crafty! I would never have thought of those! So cute! So cute. I can only imagine the years of fun to come!
ReplyDeletejen-they are adorable! and its great to take advantage of their young age when they won't argue about what they want to dress up as instead....that day will come!! after ella wore her uniqua costume at school, she came home and said she wanted to be a princess (cuz most of the little girls at school were princesses!).
ReplyDeleteanyway, i think i finally feel caught up on my reading of your blog after being gone a week. our birthdays are a day apart! mine is the 19th! :) happy late birthday to you!
I totally recognized what they were suppose to be!!! The pillows, the blankets ... the monkey costumes?!
