At the Airport

This afternoon we took a fun field trip to our local airport.

The beauty of a small town airport is that there was no traffic, so we were able to walk out onto the tarmac and check out the planes.

It was such a pleasant afternoon. The weather is finally starting to become a bit milder. There was even a nice breeze!

The children loved our adventure, especially checking out the gliders!

As we were leaving, we even got to watch a small plane take off from the runway. R declared that HE wanted to drive an airplane, too.

I just hope the pilot has a sense of humor when he sees the 3 little nose prints on the glass!

Love your blog!
We have a friend who is an airplane mechanic. When my kids (now 15 and 12) were little, we'd take field trips to "Dave's airport" and he'd take them onto the planes and treat them like a little prince and princess. One time a pilot was preparing for a flight and he let the kids sit in the cockpit while he readied the plane. I'm thrilled to see how you treasure each moment with your precious children. You know how fast it goes. All I can say is...don't blink.

Hello! I am new to the blogging world---I've been reading your posts for a couple weeks. You along with a few others were my inspiration for even starting my own blog! I know nothing, by the way. Anyway, your triplets are adorable. I am the mother of twins--couldn't imagine having one more! Mine are 10 now so not so much of a handful!
My husband is a pilot so airplanes have always been a hit around here! Glad you had a great day!

SO cute! I love the pressed noses on the glass picture--someday when they're grown, they'll have so much fun looking at all these pictures you've taken of them:)
